Large fire breaks out in Dutch OAP care home, injuring at least 40 residentsOn one of my trips to Amsterdam I thought that I just might have consumed too many chemicals when I saw the Fire Brigade boat,complete with siren and flashing lights,whizzing along in the Canals.
Apparently they can get round the city faster by canal.
The police also have lots of boats but have become pretty fast in the narrow streets too, by using two person motorbike and sidecar units.
