Ireland Officially Broke ? - Bank Cant Pay Out Over "Glitch" | Before It's News
The main error in this story, is believing that all of Ireland is an independent country. Six counties, in the North, are still part of the UK, where the Ulster Bank is situated, mainly. Ulster Bank is part of the English banking group, National Westminster, which has had a huge computer program fault. The rest of Ireland is named Eire. This name is not very often used.
Scotland often suffers from the same sort of ignorance. It is normally referred to as England or,even worse, the North of England, which even annoys the English in Lancashire!!
