it appears that the Bureau of Land Management in Nevada is rounding up Wild Mustangs which have been free to roam on land set aside exactly for them. Water holes are being fenced off to prevent access for Mustangs. However the land that the Mustangs were on is leased out to farmers and ranchers for grazing cows and sheep.
The Mustangs, without much water become emaciated and the Bureau uses this as a reason to round them up, for their own good, of course. They are then kept in corals and fed and paid for by American tax Dollars. In the wild they have food. With decent access to water the horses cost nothing at all.
But the almighty dollar wins!! Land leasing prices are high!!!
