YET ANOTHER MUSLIM RIDE-SHARE DRIVER sexually assaults female passenger



How strange!  I escaped to the pub yesterday afternoon with the help of friends who pushed my chair, while I do the royal wave! Knowing that I blog, a friend told me about a young lady's taxi story.

She requested a private hire taxi, which duly arrived. However, there was a guy sitting in the front seat beside the driver. She assumed that he was being dropped off and the driver was lucky having no dead miles between drop and pick up. She stood to the side to allow fares to be paid, bags sorted.

Then the guy opens the window and says to her, 'please get in, I am the interpreter for the driver,!!'

In a hurry, she did but was very apprehensive during the journey, while the two in front yammered away.

Casting no aspersions, whatever, I immediately thought,' oh this is how it could be done.' One guy climbs over and subdues a girl or a boy, while the drivers finds a spot. Using a Satnav, as most do now, surely he only has to learn left or right. Then I thought that he could not spell the destination.

During a driving test, it is quite legal to have a friend along to interpret. Many court cases have happened following one person yammering to the other and then giving the right answers!!

The 'knowledge' is only compulsory in London and is for public hire, not private, uber or lyft drivers.

Elsewhere, there may be some councillor n the taxi committee, who may ask a few questions. my other problem here is that a license is granted to carry 4 peeps, which cannot be done with one seat taken up. Four was arrived at for two couples on a night out. If a vehicle is constructed to carry more, then so be it.
