Turkey Disobeys the US - LewRockwell
Despite being a NATO member, having us bases, us planes and kit, they buy from Russia. they are pals with all of the stans and with Iran.!!!
In any conflict with Iran, they and all of the stans would refuse air zone passage leaving u.s.a with carriers (not enough) and bringing heavy bombers from Italy, Germany, UK and Diego Garcia, meaning mid-air refueling. Israeli aircraft could take off but where could they land, as Iranian missiles would wreak airfields. Fly to Cyprus (also in range) or Qatar who is the u.s.a mideast centcom base and BFF with guess who?? Iran.!!
