I am not E begging for new tyres for my BMW as one infamous American auditor actually had the balls to do. The same guy was heard to ask a more senior auditor, following a win of about $25K in a false arrest case, do I pay tax on this win? No said the senior man, correctly. Then he asks, see all this income from ytube and the donations that I get, is that income and is that taxed? Yes, of course, it is, it is income and you are treated as being self-employed. Oh fuck, he says, I should keep receipts for gas and stuff and do accounts and stuff. Yes !! Oh I just throw them away!!! Older guy says hey and you can claim for your car, cameras travel and loads of stuff, just like any business. How do I do that, expecting a free education? Get an accountant!! Well, I got mine, as the sharp-eyed will have noticed on my changed banner, above, to include a PayPal account for any donations to go there. Why the change?
I have been free access for a little over 10 years now and I think my postings are pretty good and informative about loads of subjects, including concert videos and albums. It was suggested to me to place a donation button on my site, years ago. People appreciated that I spent time and they enjoyed the results. Can nearly 3 million views be wrong?? How much is an album or a concert DVD these days??? You can download anything, or send it from my site for free.
In 1977, I was in a crash which I posted about a little further back. My mobility, since then, has become gradually worse, leaving me housebound about 8 years ago. Doing the work and posting gave me an interest, used up time and increased my knowledge. With more and more bits of kit for the disabled, coming on the market, at fair prices, plus physio, no alcohol and a proper diet, I discovered that I could get out, using a walker/seat deal which I bought for £70 Some things had to be done, but it would work. I needed grab handles and banisters fitted to get up and down two, yes two, front steps.
During my internment, I had provisions, other goods etc, delivered. I could E mail and write letters to attach to E mails. I set up standing orders, paid bills and did all of my banking online. I became my own office. planning payments going out in relation to money coming in. I accepted my lot as karma and had had good times. Doing this blog saved me from becoming a sit in drunk, junkie, depression or worse!
I began watching trucker videos. They were filming as they worked, showing their trucks, how to load/unload, scenery, bad driving. I liked it!! I thought that I could 'walker' to a vehicle and off I would go.Snag snag snag of course. I had difficulty bending my knees to get into cars. Um!
Anyway long story short. I now have a customised Transit van with a rear ramp and winch, which will take a wheelchair and seat six people. I described it further up. I had some hassles but a bit of thought and by buying some kit, I think that I am ready to film.
While living inside, I set myself a target to save money. I could see my next bed being an electric one which gets into weird positions. So I put together £12K in 7/8 years from benefits. I had my start up money. So far I have spent £3.2K advance lease payment which will cost me a further £70 a week hire charge. It includes insurance, repairs get me home from roadside breakdown yyada yada The lease people demanded that I have a wheelchair which could be secured to travel. £1.5K The walker was no good. £1.5K I bought a static wi'fi Cannon DSLR and top mic plus long and short tripods £1K. I have a 3g I phone but I bought a Samsung Galaxy S10 £300 down and £23 per month £800 Bought a Satnav £70 Bought two drones £100 SD Cards and a reader and bits and pieces £100 Dashboard holders and stuff £100 Website cards and tee shirts £65 Say £6,500 quid.or half my nest egg.
So I am asking you to drop me some money, via PayPal, to keep bringing the blog posts, which I can continue to do on my laptop or phone, plus a load of films, for your enjoyment, showing Scotland and other stuff. They will be a bit ropey at first while I learn editing and stuff. I will run this as a business and pay any taxes due,, unlike many peeps who do the same stuff. If you can afford it and only if, I would ask low-income folks to please open a free PayPal account, do a standing order via bank or better by credit card, if possible for £5 a month or less.
Better paid folks, again please open a PayPal account and please do an order for £6 to £10 per month from bank or credit card. That is a gallon of diesel or a pack of 20 cigarettes and a bag of crisps in uk.
Any self employed or higher income folks, who can give a bit more, every month, will receive an invoice, by e. mail for Internet Services, which they can place in their accounts/expenses to claim it back later. So it costs nothing, really.
If you contact me at paddyfields13@protonmail.com stating the amount and return e mail, I will have an invoice sent within days upon working out any bugs. I will spend some of this money getting into private, paid for sites and newsletters, to bring even more info to you all and of course, pay for travel, coca cola and snacks!.
I hope that you will support me. Of course, I realise that some folks will still view for free.I can take it all private, in the future, if needs be but that would be a shame as I am not asking for much, am I?
