The recent vote to leave the EU has absolutely no legal standing whatever. The British Government can.quite simply,ignore the vote and carry on as members of the EU.It would be crazy but legal possible.

Alternatively,using Article 50 of the Treaty of Rome, Britain can withdraw from the EU, before Xmas.

As Scotland voted to remain inside the EU, this leaves the way open for another vote to be called for, probably next year, to ask the question, should Scotland become completely independent from the rest of the United Kingdom.

In the course of three days,last week,Nicola Sturgeon,First Minister of Scotland and leader of the Scottish National Party, initially rejected the possibility of an independence vote only to change her mind two days later!!
