The milk of human kindness: New mother stuck in nine-hour motorway jam thanks mystery Good Samaritans who went to fetch formula for her baby son | 



I would not be caught dead in a nine hour sit on a motorway!!!  The emergency vehicles use the hard shoulder.  After an hour,surely there would be enough on site. I would turn and go back up the shoulder and I don't see why police don't operate stop/go,  by radio, to allow peeps to get away
