Israel extends truce for another 24 hours despite Hamas refusal to stop rocket attacks as Gaza ruins are laid bare | Israel certainly destroyed much of Gaza as the World was chasing jets round Ukraine. As I have said many times,Israel is after the oil and gas, off the coast of Gaza, which they are currently paying for to be piped into Israel from Egypt.
A huge field extends out into the Med and runs down the coasts of Egypt,Gaza and Israel. A 15 year lease was drawn up and I think it has only a few years left to runs. I heard about it 6 years ago at least.
British Gas (60%) do the off shore CCC of Lebanon(30%) do the onshore and pipes to Israel and Jordan. Gaza gets 10%
If Israel can get the Gaza field,they get cheaper product and can empty the Egyptian part quite easily. There are no steel partitions !!!! It is one huge field.
