I never eat any kind of game bird. I remember the first time that I watched my mother cooking chicken. I was on a survival kick thinking on what happens when I leave home sort of thing. She said always be sure that it is well cooked. How do you tell,says I, is it like steak going darker? Nope she says,just cook it well!
Um, that bothered me as I need rules and order. Once I tasted how bland it was,that was it for me. Turkey was just the same,every Xmas. As for pigeon, squab or grouse. Who you kidding??
