Somewhere there will eventually be an aircraft / drone collision and only after that will there laws brought in.
The drone pilots do not have a view of civil aircraft movements. The drones do not have transponders to bleep out 'I a here' signals.
Anyone can own and operate a drone, anyone !! I could buy one and fly it in my garden, which is near to the two mile final point on the glide slope for landing at Glasgow Airport. I could easily fly a drone over onto that glide slope and hit a plane!!
