I have only voted twice in my life. Once,at 18,to see what it was all about. The party,I liked didn't put up a candidate as my area is a Labour stronghold. So I spoiled my paper. The other tie that I voted was to keep the Uk out of the EEC as it was than called.

However, I believe that all persons elligible to vote should vote and be fined for not doing so,as in Egypt. Then we would know how a country feels. Continually, someone wins having gained a very small percentage of those who could vote, in their favour. If people were fined,perhaps our Parliaments would have a different make up which reflected the true feelings of the constituents..
