Earthquake strikes off Tonga - World News | TVNZ
This one was a 6.4 There was a minor one near Christchurch NZ the other day I continue to say, visualise the Pacific as a big dinner plate. If on section goes down then the opposite section must come up and vice versa. These up and down motions rub against the touching plates of another dinner plate and a chain reaction could take place unless there is a bit of space between the plates to absorb the movement.
I really cannot understand how the West Coast of America continually misses out. I don't say this for badness. Continually, Indonesia Japan and Chile have huge quakes, mostly offshore, fortunately, but never USA
