Scotland would be more at risk from terror attacks if it breaks away from the rest of the UK, Theresa May warns |
The Government in Westminster is getting increasingly desperate at the thought of Scotland becoming independent. Here we have a woman, with more pairs of shoes than the late Imelda Marcos ever had, spouting rubbish.
Terror Attacks..........There has been one attack, yes, ONE in Scotland. Two idiot amateur doctors, who were not members of any group drove a 4 x 4 towards the glass front of Glasgow Airport, only to be stopped by concrete bollards which they could not knock down! One of them got out while the other set the vehicle on fire.
The guy who got out was immediately attacked, kicked, punched and otherwise battered silly by folks and staff.
A police sergeant then sat on him and tried to stop people continuing their attack!!
Cyber attacks..........To my knowledge there have been none so far Why would we expect more after independence?
Government mouthpieces will keep trotting out fearmongering statements which have no basis in fact. Perhaps they are the TERROR ists as they are trying to induce fear in the minds of Scottish people to try to influence the vote.
Why this panic? Oil and gas....... the usual suspects. There are numerous fields in the Atlantic which are termed deep water fields. Yes they are harder to drill, but certainly not impossible. Companies, quite rightly want the easy stuff, first. The islands of the west coast of Scotland, the outer Hebrides have oil and gas fields,as yet untapped. But the jewels in the crown are fields surrounding the most westerly point of land, claimed to be British which, after independence would become Scottish. Rockall.
This rock,60 feet high is claimed by the Shetlands Council, Eire,Denmark and Iceland. It is 228 miles North West of Donegal,Eire and was said to have been given to Scotland by the Danes,as were the Shetlands,Orkneys and the outer Hebrides in a treaty centuries ago. When England defeated Scotland and the crowns became one,Rockall became a British possession.
Currently the United Nations is trying to sort out the actual ownership. see more above
