Daily Mail overflowing with bile about Britain, Nick Clegg says | Media | theguardian.com

Britain is NOT a country,it is a name for a collection of countries, England,Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland. England defeated each of the others,in various campaigns,at various points in history.
The seat of government,for many centuries, was in London,England. Devolution took place,. in the 20th century and some departmental power was devolved to Belfast,Cardiff and Edinburgh.
Unfortunately many stupid people cannot take these points in and consider England to be Britain,which is not the case. The Daily Mail,the Times and the BBC are particularly bad at reporting bad stories as being British and good ones to be English.
The English football team,continually, use the British national anthem and deck themselves out in the British Union ,get it, union flag. They should use the flag of St George.I don't think they even have an anthem.They represent England and not Britain.
When Scotland becomes independent,SOON,this crap will be resolved.
