Both Virgin and Sky, in the UK have banned access to PirateBay, recently. Some other firms are considering doing the same thing. Of course the joke is on them!
By downloading thetorproject to your computer it allows you to go through a proxy and your ISP does not know where you are going. They only register from you to Tor and back again!!! Another way is to enter tpb.pirateparty.org.uk
Now all I am saying here is that it can be done. I am not saying that you should do it. This is a matter for you to consider.
