So now Facebook are looking for your phone number which will provide a welcome sales package for cold caller firms to buy up lists and lists of Facebook folk. People give so much personal information away, that they provide valuable marketing information, to be mined by using key words.
Should a new perfume come out. Facebook need only enter the product name into a web spider and it would pull up all conversations including that perfume. With phone numbers, they can now interact with a person, anytime, on a one to one basis, having discovered their likes/dislikes and other social/income data
