8,000 marines move from Japan to Quam. Recently, Quam took delivery of a boat load of super 2000lb cave buster bombs from California. Israel wanted them but they would have used them on Iran whereas America held back and reigned in Israel.
B-2 Stealth bombers have been based there and the U=2 has had a new lease of life flying from Quam to Afghanistan where it looks for patterns of earth displacement which may show a roadside bomb.

So first wave Bombers and ship based cruise missiles plus carrier fighter support then Israeli fighter/bombers then Israeli troops followed by American troops.Iran could retaliate with missiles to Israel and in long term close the Straits of Hormuz to shipping completely.
