Since 330AD, when the first one was cobbled together, from hand me down men only stories,the thing has been changed,mis translated,had bits like Hell,added, when the Puritans were in some sort of ascendancy in Europe, during the 18th.century, through purgatory, which was also put in, as the Puritans waned, because people thought about a forgiving God,additions and subtractions have happened to suit whoever was paying for the next version. Currently we have the King James version. Note the word version. The book has been chopped and changed so much that the only consistent factor has been the title!!
Now someone says that an asteroid is going to hit the Earth, based on this work of fiction.
