The wonderful thing about troops like SEALs and Delta and SAS and Spetnaz and so on is that they are 100%  believers. They are trained automatons who will carryout their mission because they believe that it is for he greater good of the people of their country.

SEAL Team6 believed that they were going to invade a sovereign country to kill Osama Bin Laden who was continually plotting and ordering attacks on America. Why?  Because they believed whatever they were told.

Of course,it turned out to be a load of crap!  Sammy was a CIA double used in broadcasts after the real Bin Laden was killed or died at Tora Bora in 2001. Can you believe that the mega Pakistani base, some half a mile away, was not told that they were coming?? Stealth helicopters,my arse.  Just extra panels for the believers to see. A confidence booster.

So they get there and meet no opposition whatever.  The enemies top man without guards and security?? Surely they recognised Sammy the Fake and saw that they were risking their lives,supposedly in hostile territory, in which they could be killed,injured or captured and put into a show trial, causing an international incident. They were believers,after all.

So they come home and read about the burial at Sea.  More crap!!  Finally the believers saw the light.

One helicopter bomb blew up,the other failed,in my opinion. They were never to come home!!!

When that penny dropped they were dead men walking.
