Of course there are food shortages. Xmas and New Year took place at the start of a weekend.Lots of people would take a few days leave to add to the official holidays and thus have two full weeks off. Food supply is now on a production and out the door basis. No supplier holds stock, because it is dead money.

When production commences again,things will be back to normal
