I always let my landline ring six times as the dialing machines that the pests use cut off at six rings. If I see a strange number on my mobile phone or caller ID, I immediately put it into a search engine, to see who it belongs to. If I don't want their calls on my mobile, I assign their number with a separate ring tone,which saves me bothering to answer it. !! The six ring cut off,deals with the others
