They cannot patent plants and therefore they have neither control nor income from them. Hence the big attack on homeopathy outlets,in Europe,a few years ago.
The plot was to have them all licensed but an annual one would cost £2,000 which made it a crazy overhead to include in sales prices. They did not consider Chinese medicine shops and the license plan was scrubbed because it could be deemed as racist against mainly one ethnic group.
More and more stories about how cannabis can help in the medical field are coming out daily and the new fight is an anti hash one, as opposed to an anti homeopathy one.
