So 42.3 tonnes of Gold was loaded onto a plane and the guards were armed.!!  Sacre Bleu!! I should think they were armed!!!  Lorries with no number plates are pretty standard in clandestine moves. But the clincher is that the plane took off on the Northern runway. Well of course, that is the answer. Did anybody think to note down the registration of the plane?   Nope. How does he know that it landed in America?
