Uk Hospitals are full of nurses and doctors who live in Southern Ireland,Eire,among other countries. None of them actually pays any tax on their earnings.!!

If you live abroad,your domocile for tax reasons, is your home country,not the one in which you work. So if you live in Eire and work in Scotland you pay neither tax nor national insurance. If you work longer than six months period,in Scotland, things change. So folks just go home for a week's holiday and come back to start a new six month period. Eire considers them as working abroad and they pa no tax at home,either.  The same game is played by all foreigners
