The main political parties,in Scotland are currently towing the line st down by their English bosses in London. The Scottish National Party are doing all of the work to gain independence.

Following independence we will have our first elections which the Scottish Labour party will win as Scotland is predominately a Labour stronghold. The Consrvative party is finished in Scotland now,never mind after independence! The Liberals are strong in the Western Isles with the SNP and Labour taking the rest.

I believe that the electorate has backed the SNP for only one reason,independence. The SNP have long been called the Tartan Tories and after independence their position will become that of the also ran. Scotland will become a Labour stronghold in a two party system with the SNP.

I feel sure that Scotland will become a Socialist Republic, with a President, unless we break the mold and bring in proportional representation. This will provide a mix of parties based on the number of votes cast and will curb the excesses of any one party. I also believe that everybody should, by Law, vote. This will provide a true feeling of how the country wishes to go forward.There are plenty of voting methods available....Internet postal and physical presence.
