Meet Nick Hancock, the man living alone on Rockall for Help for Heroes charity
This has been done before by ex SAS man Tom McClean. He did it in the light of other countries claiming that it belonged to them. In fact it was given to Scotland, by Norway, when we beat the Vikings, a long time ago.
Scotland also got the Orkneys,Shetlands and the Western Isles as part of that peace settlement.
So after independence it should be Scotland's oil and gas underneath it !!!
