In the Uk,under the terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, certain crimes, committed by a person, are deemed to be spent after five years from the end of the sentence and need not be put down on any forms.It is sad that a person,who may have committed a small offence in their youth, should be continually punished for the rest of their lives.!! So I believe that getting this type of data out of search engines is a good thing.
