Some English councils have gone bin mad with a separate bin for different types of rubbish. The game is to have plastic and glass items in one, so that these plastics and glass items can be sold to be recycled. 'Ordinary rubbish is placed in another bin or group sub divided again.
In Scotland, I have two bins. One for rubbish and the other for glass and plastic. As far as I am concerned if they want to make money from my rubbish,they can sort it!! Everything of mine goes in the rubbish bin.End of story.
