Africa - Cargo plane crashes in Kenyan capital - France 24I checkout www.planefinder.net from time to time. This site shows,in real time,the airliners in the skies,worldwide. I am often amazed at the number of planes,at various heights,which fly over London.
They have three major airports in London,Heathrow,Gatwick and Stanstead. In addition they have City Airport, in central London beside the river Thames and Luton,which is a bit north of London. Planes approach and leave all of these airports,criss crossing the capital at different heights.
You can take a pilot's view from one plane which works in conjunction with Google Earth and 'see' out the front window as it were. If you pick correctly you can see planes flying across you,under you and above you as you track. It is frightening when one is coming towards your plane, at a lower height or flying diagonally under you.!!! Check it out www.planefinder.net
