All Boeing aircraft since 1982 hae been fitted with an anti hijack system which allows control of the plane to be taken over,either from the air or from the ground. Airbus has a similar system.
Boeing sold aircraft to the Luffwafe,German air forc, who discoerd the system. They were less than pleased that they had not been told that it was there. So they ripped it out and changed control to German sources only.
