They have been used,very successfully, in Germany and Holland,where they now put vegetable dye in the water to mark folks for capture later. The force of these cannons can knock people off their feet which may result in head and other injury, due to colliding with the pavement.
They have been used in Northern Ireland but not in the rest of Britain. Simple advice....take a few heavy duty bin bags and cut arm and head holes in them, to save cloths getting wet!!
