I liked Jessie J when I heard her singing acapella on the Jules Holland show. She has had one album out in 2011, which was really good. Whether it was her or her record company,I don't know, but to release every track as a single was milking it to death. Michael Jackson did it, but well he was rather different. For a first album person to do it smacks of real diva status for all the wrong reasons.
Danny O'Donohue said it perfectly, when he said that you had your whole life to do your first album, but to follow it is hard. The Script second album confirmed that he was right. Jessie has produced no album since then and probably will stick to these daft singles featuring other folk to help them out. Michael Jackson produced dozens of albums in an almost production line formula and would still be doing so today, but for his non singing problems.
Jessie J is also having problems, with non singing issues. She just cannot find an image. Her legs are just too long for one thing and wearing high heels just doesn't help!! Like Sinead O'Connor she is getting lost in the periphery of the pop scene. Nowadays, she is a bit of a feline screamer, who gives me a headache, with all the high pitch notes. Come down a couple of keys and just sing,girl and sod the rest of the crap!!!
