gupta wedding on News24This extremely rich family, in South Africa, were having a Wedding. They decided that a military air base was nearer to the Wedding and planes with guests from India landed there via some local arrangement.
This irked the authorities, who had not been asked for permission for this landing. Whether it was part of a rich/poor war or shades of the old apartheid era, the whole escapade exploded into an enquiry. The latest event being the arrest of nine cops who escorted these Indian visitors from the base to the Wedding,acting as unofficial security.
