Rangers deny they are facing a winding up order - Daily Record

The continuing saga of Glasgow Rangers FC seems to go on and on. Now the have been hit with a £400,000 bill.
Criag White very nearly got away with it. I posted at the time that he was an infamous asset stripper. The whole game had nothing to do with football Ibrox park sits almost in the centre of Glasgow. Thy also have a training ground. Both sites are fully serviced, with utilities. Both are near to main dual carriageway roads. which connect to the M8 motorway. The main site is two story and could have made a fantastic super store and offices. The training ground is ideal for a private housing development. Then the iceing on the cake, the staff pension fund.  All of these assets, together with money made from the transfer of players, would have paid all expenses and left a huge profit which White and his associates would have got for nothing !!!
At the same time that he was trying to screw Rangers he was making approaches to another Scottish Premier team St Mirren in nearby Paisley.  They have similar assets, access to the motorway and are very near to Glasgow airport. They, too, were in financial difficulties, but realised the game that White was playing and chased him.!! Eventually they sold a car park which became a super market.
White hides everything that he does behind a plethora of off shore registered companies and works from a main address, in Switzerland, which sounds good but turned out to be a mail receiving and forwarding agency or a posh post office box.!!!. He owns a small castle in Scotland and a house in Monaco. He has made a lot of money buying up ailing firms, dividing up the parts and selling them off, as separate stand alone firms.
