Some one or group has been extremely busy analysing the Bible.  I really can't think why they went to all this trouble.The whole book is a fairy story.!!
The first bible was cobbled together after a three year long debate at Nicea in 330 ad. This took place at the behest of the Roman Emperor, Constantine, who wanted a book of rules.He was a convert to Christianity and wanted to introduce it throughout the Roman Empire, but there had to be rules Theologians from all over the known World were requested to attend.It took some years to actually get there!!  No private jets in those days!!
When they got into it, they were asked to vote on stuff they liked to be put into a book. No women's gospels were entered, although many existed. All of the apostles wrote gospels but only four were picked. The Book of Enoch was disliked totally and so it went on,while they partied on in Nicea.
Since then this original tomb has been mis-translated, both deliberately and accidentally. Kings,Queens and Emperors have had bits added and taken out, to suit themselves!! The current version is the King James one. He paid for it to be written, his way, as many others did before him!! The bible was changed,continuously, to suit the prevailing feelings of the rulers who paid for each version to be written to suit their needs.
On the point of Christ on Earth. Despite his supposedly world changing existence no,absolutely no, diarist,such as Pliny the Elder or Younger record him. Roman records, of their Empire, don't mention him either.To me it was a good idea to control the people with the threat of not going to Heaven if they were bad. Had the promise of Heaven not been introduced the World would have been a very different anarchic place where nobody cared.
The bile was a good foundation from which religions sprung up,each with a different version. The rules in each kept a degree of law and order.  The concept of Hell, for bad people, was never in the original versions and only began to appear when things were getting out of hand, much later .
Today, with better education, people are realising that religion is merely a control mechanism. The whole God thing was invented to keep man in order. There always has to be an ultimate deterrent and then another one and then another one.
