I have read about a system which re orders,automatically, items for your fridge when your stock goes below a figure. You tag each item, as you buy it,with a sensor and update your stock figure, accordingly. Then the fridge sends out a re order request.
Might be useful in bust restaurants/hotels but hardly any use for it in the home unless you are a geek.
