20,000 furious Russians march in protest of adoption ban for American parents
Have you ever wondered how they come up with a number for people in a demo? They can hardly be counted and the figures are always exact ones. Here is my theory.............
Count the number of people that you can put in a square metre. I would say 4, tightly packed or more like 2 on a march. Take aerial photos and work out the area of the marchers and there you would have a figure.
Another way would be to count the number of people passing a set point. Then timing how long the march took to pass the same point. multiply and you get a number.
