Sun Newspaper Hair Dryers.

So were you one of the few who managed to get your free travel hair dryer in the soar away Sun newspaper?
If so, then don't use it as it is dangerous.  They blow up and catch fire while in use and this could cause serious injury.
They were, originally, to be given out in the News of the World, some 10 months ago, on the week after it closed down. So they have been stored in a warehouse for that period until the Sun took up the offer. The plan was to cut out tokens and take them to Tesco stores and redeem these for a hair dryer. A legal withdrawal notice was put out by Trading Standards to say that they were dangerous and so Tesco, quite properly, sent them back!!
Not to be beaten, the website for the Sun, announced that you now had to send tokens to a postal address due to the high demand. They did no, of course, mention the recall.!!! Any mug who sent in the tokens would have delivery in mid July.
It appears to me, that they just want them out of storage, which is costing them money.  They couldn't care less if their readers get hospitalised!!!!  So you now should send them back with your views!
Or better still, just smash them up with a hammer and put them in a bin. You will enjoy smashing them and save some kid using them.
