Sky TV Arts channel has film of Ronnie Wood's radio show, most nights. They also have concert footage of older bands from the 70's 80's.
I just watched the Who at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in 1999 with Zak Starkey on drums. It was a disgrace!!! The harmonies were crap!! Daltry was flat and Townsend was rubbish. Entwhiste played really well and occasional keyboard fill ins were good. Starkey was pretty good on da drums.
Coming next are the Stones in Texas on their some Girls tour from 1982 This channel is becoming pretty good!!! oh dear me what a difference!!
Mick is dancing. Keeeef is belting it out and Ronnie Wood fluffed a note in the first solo. Keeef glared across at him and he acknowledged it! Charlie is driving on from the back and Bill Wyman is hiding in the wings of the theatre in Forth Worth. This first number is better that the Who's total concert !!
Now doing Honky Tonk Woman so enough from me.
