This is probably Manson's last tilt at the windmill. He and his hippy band broke into the home of film starlet, Sharon Tait, who was pregnant at the time. They mutilated her and used her blood to write on the walls and wrecked the place.
Now, much worse incidents have happened, since those days, in Los Angeles and the sentences have not been as long. I think that they may just let Charlie out this time!  If they do so, he will become a celebrity and be interviewed all over the place to make money for his pension plan.
