Stranraer harbour bids farewell to ferries

BBC News - Stranraer harbour bids farewell to ferries

You can still go back and forward to Northern Ireland from Cairnryan. A new deep water port has been built there, to take bigger vessels and therefore more customers. There is six miles difference so a saving of 12 miles per round trip and the possibility of bigger boats too. Stena Line look pretty secure now.
