These occupy events are attracting more and more people to them. Mostly, I would assume, to rubber neck and take some video to put on Youtube !! Someone is going to get shot, soon, then they will have a martyr to capitalism, which they are desperately waiting for.
I say 'they' as it is very difficult to know, who exactly, are the leaders of this group. Leaders there certainly are, because it is becoming organised, from the rag tag turn up, if your not too busy, earlier brigade. One avowed Trotskite lady has already been arrested. She has been an activist for decades and has been involved in many labour disputes.
The martyr gives Occupy the next step up from Trotsky to Nihilism and then onward to Anarchy and looting and rioting, which will not bring change, only Marshall Law and total control by the Government. Is this another Hegelian Dialectic? What better way for a Government to bring in more control, if people are rioting? The majority then demand that the Government do something about it, now ! So they agree to measures that they would never have agreed to, prior to the unrest. Like taking protesters to a camp, instead of a jail, to be processed and recorded as many are off the radar, completely, living in squats, with friends or parents.
