Lufthansa agrees to sell British Midland - The Local

British Airways will now get the very valuable slots at Heathrow. BMI was making losses to Glasgow in competon with BA, Easyjet and others so watch that route disappear and the slots used for some other, probably long haul routes in competition with Virgin. Edinburgh / London on BMI was doing quite well, but again BA, Easyjet and others do it too. So more possibilities there for slots to be used elsewhere.
