Yahoo plans to 'read' your e mails to figure out what products that you are talking about. It will very likely be done by scanning for product names, held in a data base and counting the mentions in e mails. This will help their advertisers by providing feed back information which is not tainted by shopping surveys where people lie on them, for fun !! I certainly do, all the time, on them. Do you??
But is this an invasion of privacy? Who actually owns an e mail? The content may be private and copyright to the writer but the vehicle, the e mail, is not owned or rented . So are they just being Yahoos??
