Top Cop quits in London over phone hacking scandal. But all of these payments, just how were they recorded in the books? one can't write down £50 to Constable Bloggs and then get tax relief!!! So perhaps the Taxman and the Customs man are sitting on the fence watching all of this coming out.
In addition, as an American owned firm, paying bribes anywhere in the World, just ain't allowed. Unless you are selling aircraft or big guns that is, but that's National Security and not News Corp. This thing is going to run for years and years !!!
