I don't have a lot of time for Royalty. I think that they live in a time warp bubble. There as a BBC programme,a long time ago, that went to the races with them and was allowed into the Royal Box. The Queen and her hangers on, Lady in Waiting blah blah all have a box sweep on the big races like normal folks would do. The Queen does not put in any money, of course. So they all chip in £5 and some crawler puts in one for the Queen. She wins. Yippee. Fair enough a bit of fun. A show of normality.
A flunky appears with a gleaming solid Silver Salva with a fan of crisp, clean £5 notes, which were actually ironed to stiffen them and offers they tray to the Queen. She says, "What are these?" She has no conception of money, didn't recognise that these bits of paper, with her head on them, was money. What a lifestyle.!!
Chuck and Di had a chance to blow away the cobwebs but she was merely an incubator to keep the lineage going. he was already in an adulterous relationship with Camilla Carpet Bowls. Her Guards Captain husband must have been a laughing stock!!! He knew all about it but still allowed her to live with him, He may have been gay, who knows. where did he go, anyway??? They were stuck in the European Royalty mode of George III and Louis XIV and never woke up to the fact that times had changed. Time had not changed for them.
Flunkies actually, checked as far as they could to ensure that Diana was a virgin. They had had a look at Sarah Ferguson but she had had a few shags and a long adulterous affair. So she was scratched from the card. Diana with her one O level in art, I think it was, fitted the bill. She hung about with Sarah Ferguson, as a quite girl will do, to gain attention spinning of of her She was a romantic and thick as two short planks, but knew she had to hook somebody as she as never going to make it on her own. She worked as a nanny and was obviously broodie Along came Chuck and her fairy tale dreams came true with her Prince. How sad is all that.?
She had two kids, William and Harry. She developed some balls, probably put up to it by Sarah Ferguson and fought her corner against incredible odds. it was not the done thing. She should have been available to lie back and think of England, definitely not Britain and produce more, if required. Personally I think that Carpet Bowls plumbing didn't work or there would have been no need for the incubator. Up until then I would have put them all on a Island Castle and sold the franchise to Walt Disney.
But I must admit that Wills and Harry are a breath of fresh air to the Royal machine. They push the limits and must drive their protection officers to madness by whizzing about on motorbikes and continually losing them. Their bikes will have transponders on them, no doubt. But they have learned what money actually is, even though they get loads of it from the public purse. They are rich playboys and want to do rich playboy things. the marriage after eight years of basically living together was a stage managed sham. They should have gone to Gretna on the bike and got married there.!!
However they are almost, a normal rich couple, enjoying themselves, at our expense. So things can only get better, they can't get any worse for Royalty plc.
