Anthony verdict prompts bills named Caylee's Law

Anthony verdict prompts bills named Caylee's Law

New Law to come in, after the Casey Anthony Case, named after the dead child, Caylee's Law, will make it a felony, not to report the disappearance or death of a child within a set time window of 31 days. To me that still seems a bit long. I would have said 7 days which would allow for holiday long weekends and holidays with one or other partner if the parents are estranged in any way.. The sooner a disappearance is reported, the quicker that things can be started to look for them. I am sure that the Police would understand any loss reporting, where the child turns up safe and well.
