I have no sympathy for this lorry driver, at all. He should drive to suit the conditions and certainly not be stoned, if that, indeed, turns out to be the case. Some truckers take 'speed' to ward off tiredness. However, what was a horse and buggy doing on a motorway??? If it is legal to have them on there, then get a Law passed to ban them quickly!!!
Call it Barber's Law and cut this out, from ever happening again, permanently, while this case is still pending. These trim little horses and buggies are cute, but a motorway is no place to trot along. Whip things into shape and get them banned.
