Atta and co were said to have been learning to fly at Venice airport which had been used during the Iran Contra drugs for guns flights and loads more prior to that and since. This place is a sleepy ville airport with a few flights per week which turns into a black ops hub at night time, every night !! it has been going on, at least since the Bay of Pigs when some of the Cubans planes were based there.
